Harper’s Touch: Family Travel Advisory
Understand how families actually experience your property and where the greatest opportunities for improvement exist.
Elevating the Next Generation of Luxury Guests
A structured evaluation of how families actually experience your hotel.
Harper’s Touch helps hotels, resorts, and travel brands evaluate, refine, and elevate their family guest experience — through a structured, real-world lens.
We identify what to improve. Your team decides how to implement it.
Small improvements in the family experience drive repeat bookings, longer stays, and generational loyalty.
We work with a limited number of properties each season. The gap most luxury hotels haven’t closed.
Many properties welcome families. Far fewer truly design for them.
Families are one of hospitality’s highest-value guest segments — and children and teens actively shape both the booking decision and the loyalty that follows. Yet most luxury properties treat younger guests as secondary. The result is missed revenue, weaker reviews, and no lasting emotional connection to the brand.
Harper’s Touch exists to close that gap — through honest evaluation, strategic insight, and a perspective hotels simply cannot generate from within.
The future of hospitality belongs to properties designed for the next generation of travelers.

The youngest guests are not just along for the trip. They shape the memories, influence the return visit, and become the future luxury traveler.Harper’s World Perspective
The insight hotels can’t generate from within.
Harper represents the next generation of luxury travelers: observant, honest, and acutely aware of what makes a stay feel genuinely meaningful — versus what simply looks good in a brochure.
Her perspective is the lens that makes Harper’s World different. It’s not the entire product — it’s what gives the evaluation its authenticity. Combined with the Harper’s World Evaluation Framework, it becomes a powerful and practical tool for any hotel that wants to understand how families truly experience their property.
Harper has stayed at some of the world’s most celebrated properties across 32+ countries. She knows the difference between a hotel that welcomes children and one that actually designed for them. Most hotels have never experienced that distinction from the inside. We help them close it.

What hotel partners ask us.
Do you only work with five-star properties?
No. Harper’s Touch works with hotels and resorts at different stages. The common factor is not star rating — it’s a genuine commitment to improving how families experience your property. Some of the most meaningful gaps we identify are at boutique and mid-luxury properties that simply haven’t had the right lens applied yet.
Is this a hotel review or an evaluation service?
Harper’s Touch is a structured evaluation and advisory service — not a public review. Editorial coverage through Harper’s World or Beyond Harper’s World magazine is a separate, invitation-only opportunity available only to properties that have completed an evaluation engagement.
What exactly is your role — do you help implement changes?
Our role is to identify what matters most and where the greatest opportunity for improvement exists. We provide the evaluation, the insight, and the prioritized recommendations. Your team leads implementation. We focus on clarity — not execution.
Can we pay for a positive review or award recognition?
No. Harper’s World reviews, editorial coverage, and award recognition are entirely independent of evaluation engagements. An evaluation gives your property a structured outside perspective — it does not influence how we write about or recognize properties editorially. Recognition cannot be purchased.
Does an evaluation require Harper to visit the property in person?
Some evaluations benefit from an on-site experience, while others begin with a strategic review, programming assessment, or brand analysis. The right approach depends on your goals and the scope of the engagement — we discuss this during the initial discovery conversation.
Can a property use Harper’s World recognition or badges?
Recognition, endorsement language, and licensing opportunities are available only through approved Harper’s World programs, separate from standard evaluation and advisory services. Contact us to learn more about qualification criteria.
